3 MLB Batter Props to Back for World Series Game 3 on Oct. 26
Contreras, Caminero and Bauers headline three batter props worth backing for Brewers-Rays World Series Game 3 at Tropicana Field.

World Series Game 3 is the only game on Monday’s board, which makes the prop menu a short, sharp one. The Milwaukee Brewers (103-59) lead the Tampa Bay Rays 2-0 and arrive at Tropicana Field for an 8:00 PM ET first pitch on FOX, with left-hander Robert Gasser opposing Freddy Peralta, the right-hander who spent his first eight seasons in Milwaukee. The Rays are -120 favorites with the Brewers at +102 and the total at 6.5.
With a game total that tight, the value tends to live in batter props, where one swing changes the price. These three bats are priced as if October has not happened, and the numbers say otherwise.
William Contreras 2+ Total Bases (+150 DraftKings)
Contreras is the engine of this Brewers lineup. He is hitting .395 in the postseason with three homers, seven RBI and a 1.135 OPS, and he has stacked up 25 total bases in 10 games. He has gone for two or more total bases in each of the first two World Series games, yet DraftKings still offers the over 1.5 at +150.
That price looks stale against the production. Contreras averaged 1.66 total bases per game in the regular season, but he is running at 2.5 per game in October. DraftKings is also featuring him in a total-base SGP alongside Yandy Diaz, Junior Caminero and Jonathan Aranda, a nod to how well the group has hit this postseason.
Peralta has been excellent, going 2-0 with a 1.08 ERA in the playoffs, and he has faced Contreras plenty as a former teammate. But a two-base night only requires one extra-base hit or a single plus a second hit, and a bat this hot against a pitcher working at the top of his game is still worth plus money.
Junior Caminero 1+ Home Run (around +380 to +475, shop the number)
Caminero hit 42 home runs in the regular season, and he has gone deep only once in his last 10 games, a shot against Cleveland on Oct. 19 in a game where he finished with two hits and two RBI. Sportsbooks closed his home run line between +400 and +500 in both Milwaukee games, and Game 3 pricing is in the same neighborhood, with Kalshi’s Game 3 market implying roughly a one-in-five chance.
The setting helps. The Rays are 59-27 at Tropicana Field this year counting the playoffs, and with Gasser on the mound Tampa Bay is expected to lean on its right-handed hitters, with Caminero projected to bat fourth behind Diaz, Aranda and Ryan Vilade. Caminero is also 23 years old with power that plays in any park.
Prices on his 1+ HR vary from book to book, so compare the number at DraftKings and a few others before you click. For a 42-homer bat, anything +400 or better is a number worth taking.
Jake Bauers 1+ Home Run (+625 bet365)
Bauers is the longshot of the three, and an easy one to defend. He set a career high with 26 home runs this season and entered the World Series slashing .269/.441/.423 with a 151 wRC+ in eight playoff games. He was named NLCS MVP after driving in three runs in the clinching Game 4 against the Dodgers, and he has a hit in each of his last six games.
The underlying numbers back up the power. Among hitters with at least 400 plate appearances this season, Bauers ranked in the top eight in on-base percentage, wRC+ and walk rate, and in the top 25 in chase rate, hard-hit rate and barrels. He also came up in the Rays organization, so the Trop is no stranger to him. Only Cooper Pratt and Andrew Vaughn on the current Brewers roster have homered off Peralta, which tells you the matchup is a tough one but not an impossible one at these odds.
Bauers was described as hobbled during Game 2, so confirm he is in the lineup before first pitch. If he is, +625 at bet365 is a fair price for a hitter who has been barreling the ball all year (other books are closer to +490, so shop it).
Lock These In: Game 3 Batter Props
Three bats, three price points. Contreras is the safest, Caminero is the best power value on the board, and Bauers is the swing-for-the-fences ticket. Odds move through the day, so confirm the number before you bet.
- William Contreras OVER 1.5 total bases (+150 DraftKings)
- Junior Caminero OVER 0.5 home runs (+380 or better, check your book)
- Jake Bauers OVER 0.5 home runs (+625 bet365)
Take Contreras for the floor, and sprinkle the two home run tickets for the ceiling.
