FanDuel has expanded its prediction market platform, FanDuel Predicts, by partnering with Crypto.com’s Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated exchange and clearinghouse, OG Prediction Markets, adding a new layer of sports and entertainment event contracts to its existing product lineup. The expansion rolled out in time for the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and brings FanDuel’s total prediction market exchange partnerships to two, alongside its existing arrangement with CME Group.

The new product offerings include sports and entertainment event contracts as well as combination event contracts — which allow customers to trade on linked or correlated outcomes. Customers began seeing contracts from both CME Group and OG prediction markets during the first week of June.

What the Partnership Adds

“FanDuel Predicts promo was built to deliver a best-in-class prediction market experience to our customers. These additional product sets give our customers more choices by expanding the breadth of sports and entertainment contracts on our platform,” said James Cooper, senior vice president of Flywheel and New Ventures at FanDuel.

Joe Anzures, chief business officer of Crypto.com, said the infrastructure partnership positions the product for the kind of high-volume moments the World Cup represents. “By leveraging our robust, regulated exchange and clearinghouse infrastructure, we are enabling a mainstream prediction markets experience just in time for the World Cup — underscoring our capability to deliver scalable, regulated derivatives infrastructure for the world’s biggest moments,” Anzures said.

FanDuel Predicts Growth and Strategy

FanDuel Predicts launched in five US states in December 2025 and has since expanded to a nationwide presence. The platform now offers sports contracts in 18 states where online sports betting is not yet available, including California, Texas, and Florida. For parent company Flutter Entertainment, the prediction market platform represents a long-term customer acquisition strategy for states where traditional sports betting legalization remains stalled.

Flutter CEO Peter Jackson acknowledged during the company’s first-quarter earnings call in May that FanDuel Predicts generated modest revenue during the quarter. Flutter expects to invest between $250 million and $300 million in the prediction market business during 2026 as it builds out the product and its user base ahead of potential sports betting expansion in those markets.

The Crypto.com partnership adds regulatory depth to the platform. OG Prediction Markets holds a CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse designation, meaning contracts traded through it fall under federal oversight — the same framework that has allowed prediction markets like Kalshi promo code and Polymarket promo code to operate in states where sports betting remains illegal. Traders can explore all available platforms by checking the best prediction market apps and compare offerings including the FanDuel Predicts platform with the Crypto.com prediction markets promo code for new users.
