Daniil Medvedev over Hugo Dellien

Daniil Medvedev, the 6’6” Russian, is a bona fide contender for any title, including this one. The only problem he has is his draw: He’d have to beat first Djokovic, then Federer, and then Nadal to win the $3.85 Million top prize. That’s not gonna happen. But he’ll roll over Hugo Dellien in this second round matchup.

Kei Nishikori over Brad Klahn

Kei Nishikori barely got warmed up before Marco Trungelliti threw in the towel after just twelve games. But Klahn thoroughly dismantled Thiago Monteiro, and his 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 win went by in just a flash also. However, the American is not in the same league as Nishikori, and I expect the man from Japan to romp.

Novak Djokovic over Juan Ignacio Londero

Londero, a 26-year-old Argentinean, took care of American Sam Querrey in four to set up his meeting with the top seed and defending champion. Novak Djokovic is 38-7 in 2019. Enough said.

Stan Wawrinka over Jeremy Chardy

Stan Wawrinka is 5-0, lifetime, against Frenchman Jeremy Chardy, and Chardy hasn’t won a set between the two since 2012, the only set he’s ever won against the #2 Swiss. Pretty dominant, no?
