3 Skill-Position Props to Back for Patriots vs. Bears on TNF
Three skill-position player props for Patriots at Bears on Thursday Night Football, built on usage, injuries and matchup data for D'Andre Swift, Colston Loveland and A.J. Brown.

Thursday Night Football brings a pair of 4-2 teams to Soldier Field, with the New England Patriots visiting the Chicago Bears on Prime Video at 8:15 p.m. ET. Chicago is a 3-point home favorite and the total sits around 50.5, which implies roughly 26.8 points for the Bears and 23.8 for the Patriots. That is plenty of scoring for the skill players to feast on.
Our focus here is the skill-position market: one rusher, one tight end and one wide receiver where the number and the underlying usage do not quite line up. We went through target shares, carry volume and the injury reports to land on three bets worth a look.
D’Andre Swift Over 14.5 Rush Attempts
The yardage line on Swift is sitting around 60.5 to 62.5, and the cold truth is that he has cleared it just twice in six games this season. His last five outings produced 45, 84, 58, 43 and 44 yards, so the yardage over is not where the value is. The volume is. Swift owns 94 of Chicago’s 216 carries (43.5 percent), has 26 red zone carries, and has run for six touchdowns while handling 398 yards (66.3 per game).
The key variable is Kyle Monangai, who did not practice and is out with a thumb and toe issue. That removes the primary change-of-pace option, and Chicago has run the ball on 50.9 percent of its plays and has piled up more rushing yards than any other team in the NFL. Swift had 16 carries against Atlanta and 20 against Philadelphia in Week 3. With Chicago a home favorite and Caleb Williams back under center, a game script that keeps the ball on the ground in the second half is the likeliest outcome.
New England’s run defense is solid, ranking ninth at 91.8 rushing yards allowed per game, and no back has topped 100 yards against them this year. That is another reason to prefer the attempts market, which does not require explosive plays, over the yardage prop. Swift’s yards per carry is a modest 4.2, so volume is the cleanest path to production.
Colston Loveland Over 41.5 Receiving Yards
Loveland is trending in the right direction as Williams settles back in. He hauled in six of seven targets for 65 yards and a touchdown against the Falcons in his first game with Williams back from a three-week hamstring absence, and he has 19 catches for 175 yards and 30 targets on the season. That is roughly 29 receiving yards per game, so the number looks high on paper, but the sample includes three games without Williams.
The tight end’s finish to last season is the real tell: over the final four games of last season, including the playoffs, Loveland saw 48 targets from Williams for 28 catches and 378 yards. With the line posted at 41.5 on FanDuel and 43.5 at other books, shop for the lower number.
The receptions market tells the same story. Loveland has recorded four or more receptions in three of Chicago’s last few games, and the over on 4.5 receptions is available at +120 at BetMGM for bettors who want a plus-money alternative to the yardage over.
A.J. Brown Under 68.5 Receiving Yards
This is the pick that needs the biggest caveat: monitor the injury report before kickoff. Brown returned from a four-game absence with a high ankle sprain and was targeted 10 times against the Jets but caught only three passes for 27 yards. He has just six catches for 53 yards on 14 targets in two games this season, and he was limited in practice on both Monday and Tuesday with the ankle.
The context makes the under attractive. Romeo Doubs is on injured reserve, so there is no secondary wideout to pull coverage, and New England’s offensive line is banged up. Guards Alijah Vera-Tucker and Ben Brown are probably out, and tackle Morgan Moses is limited with a foot injury. A compromised protection group makes it harder for deeper routes to develop, and an ankle that still has him on the practice report is the kind of injury that can limit separation and explosiveness. A line near 68.5 to 70.5 prices him like a healthy alpha, not a receiver working his way back.
If Brown is ruled out, the bet is void. If he plays and sees another heavy target load, there is always the chance he hits a big play, but the price assumes full health that we have not seen.
