Sportradar and Kalshi Strike Landmark Multi-Year Data Partnership, Bringing Official League Data to Prediction Markets
Sportradar and Kalshi have signed a multi-year global agreement that positions Sportradar as an official data and solutions provider for the world's largest prediction market platform.

Sportradar Group AG and Kalshi have announced a landmark multi-year global agreement that positions Sportradar as an official data and solutions provider for Kalshi, the world’s largest prediction market. The deal, announced June 8, covers official sports data and live odds, fan engagement tools, customer acquisition services, and integrity monitoring across major sports properties including Major League Baseball, the NHL, Major League Soccer, and the UFC.
The partnership marks Sportradar’s first formal agreement with a prediction market platform and signals a broader shift in how data infrastructure companies are approaching the fast-growing sector. Sportradar’s stock surged 8.8 percent on the day of the announcement, reflecting investor enthusiasm for the company’s expansion into adjacent markets beyond traditional online sportsbooks.
What the Deal Covers
Under the terms of the agreement, Sportradar will supply Kalshi promo code with a broad portfolio of products drawn from its Prediction Services division. That includes fast and accurate official league data and live odds designed to power both pre-game and in-play markets, dynamic real-time content for fan engagement, leading marketing services for customer acquisition, and integrity monitoring through Sportradar’s UFDS AI system and its Sportradar Integrity Exchange network.
The deal also extends beyond Kalshi directly. Sportradar will have the ability to enter into agreements with Kalshi’s key partners, including brokers and market makers, providing official data and scalable solutions across the prediction market value chain. That structure mirrors how Sportradar has long worked with licensed sportsbooks like DraftKings and FanDuel.
NBA contracts are notably absent from the agreement. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has said the league is still monitoring the prediction market space, and Sportradar declined to comment on which of its league partners are or are not included in the Kalshi deal. The league has data rights agreements with Sportradar, but those have not been extended to prediction market platforms at this stage.
Broader Industry Significance
The Sportradar-Kalshi agreement arrives as prediction markets face a complicated regulatory environment in the United States. Kalshi has been involved in multiple legal and regulatory actions in recent weeks, including a referral from the Better Business Bureau’s National Advertising Division and ongoing state-level challenges. Despite that pressure, the company continues to expand its infrastructure and institutional partnerships.
Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl framed the partnership as an extension of the company’s core mission into emerging markets. “We look forward to working with key prediction market participants as the landscape matures, establishing the trusted, compliant framework for sports innovation just as we have successfully delivered in online sports betting,” Koerl said in prepared remarks at the announcement.
Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour emphasized the operational benefits, noting that official league data would allow for quicker trade settlements and a better user experience overall, with integrity monitoring added to protect platform users. The deal positions Kalshi to operate with the same data infrastructure that licensed sportsbooks have relied on for years, a significant step as prediction markets push for broader regulatory acceptance across US states.
For users of the Kalshi platform, the Sportradar partnership represents a meaningful upgrade in the quality of data powering their markets. For the broader prediction market industry, it signals that the major data and technology providers that built the modern sports betting ecosystem are now actively investing in the sector. As the distinction between prediction markets and sports betting continues to blur in regulatory discussions, having Sportradar’s integrity framework in place could prove to be a critical asset for Kalshi as it navigates state-by-state legal challenges in the months ahead.
