Man U has been pretty bad over their last 5 games, winning only one. They currently sit at 13th in the league table, and things seem to be falling apart for the historic franchise.
Manager Erik Ten Hag somehow retained his job from last season, but things are not looking great at this point of the season. Villa, on the other hand, has shown that it is once again a competitor for the Champions League.
Sitting at 5th in the league table, it will be important for them to keep the points rolling on their home turf. Man U are to keep their season afloat already, so expect this to be a fun game.
Nottingham Forest have been a big surprise so far this season. They currently sit at 10th in the league table and have only one loss on the season so far. That loss, however, was a tough one last weekend against Fulham.
Chelsea has been looking great in their last few games. They have won 4 of their last five and amassed 15 goals in those 5 games. They currently sit at 4th in the league table and seem to be a serious contender to stay atop the league this season.
Cole Palmer has been incredible, and I don’t expect that to change this weekend. Forest has a tough defense, so it should be a fun matchup between some teams who are exceeding expectations thus far.
Tottenham is coming off of a dominating 3-0 win over Man United last weekend. They have now won 3 of their last 5 and seem to be in a good spot scoring 3 goals in each of their last two matches. Brighton has been struggling as of late.
They have won only one of their last 5, and goals have not come too easily. In the last few matchups, this series has been pretty tightly contested. In the last 5, there have been no draws with Tottenham winning 3 and Brighton with 2.
Brighton's defense has not been amazing, allowing over 1 goal per game so expect some goals in this weekend's premium matchup.
