It has been a wacky week in European football, and it might just be starting.
Thomas Tuchel was sacked as Chelsea manager after a 1-0 loss to Zagreb Tuesday, and was already replaced by Brighton's Graham Potter. Is Jurgen Klopp next on the chopping block after Liverpool's embarrassing showing Wednesday in Italy? Some Liverpool fans are saying just that–sack Klopp and save the season.
But Thursday is for the other two European competitions, and the two English Europa League managers have no calls to sack them. Manchester United has won four in a row, and face Real Sociedad at Old Trafford after its 3-1 win on the weekend over Mikel Arteta's Arsenal team.
Both Premier League sides are favored, and both should be able to keep the momentum of their season going.
