Manchester City looks for fourth straight Carabao Cup title Sunday at Wembley
It is no shock that the deepest club in England has dominated the EFL Carabao Cup over the last eight years.
Manchester City is looking to win its sixth title in eight years, and fourth in a row, Sunday at Wembley against Ryan Mason’s Tottenham.
That’s right, not Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham; the latter was sacked in the week leading up to a cup final, a most inglorious end to his reign in London.
Can the Spurs win a first piece of silverware since 2008, and only their second trophy since the turn of the millennium?
Or will City win another Carabao Cup to show that they are truly the deepest team in England?
In the Premier League, Aston Villa can jump up to ninth (with a game in hand), and dream about European football next season, with a win today over last chance West Bromwich Albion, which probably needs to win five games down the stretch to stay in the top flight.
