Wednesday bonus action, as Premier League joins UEFA Champions League
What did we learn yesterday, other than the fact that I should go with my gut and back my favorite non-Manchester United player to score a hat trick at the Camp Nou?
There are not very many good teams in the world right now.
The truly elite teams are probably just two: Manchester City and Bayern Munich, but PSG is probably the next tier down, along with MAYBE Atletico Madrid.
Other than them, the usual suspects are struggling. You can see some teams are on the rise (Manchester United) and some are set to be devastated by the pandemic (Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund).
Today, Juventus, which looks like it finally figured it out this season, looks to be a heavy favorite in the Champions League Round of 16 tie with Porto. In the Premier League, Manchester City has a chance to effectively end the title race today at Everton.
I am rolling with the two favorites.
