Italy looks to move into UEFA Nations League Finals next fall, while England picks up the pieces
Gareth Southgate out!
The cries from the terraces (which are empty now, but you get the point) are rising, after the Three Lions lost ANOTHER big game under his stewardship because of his cowardly lineup selection. But we all had Belgium, right? So thanks Southgate for lining my pocket.
There are three games today that will decide which two teams join Spain and France in the UEFA Nations League Final Four. I think Italy takes care of Bosnia & Herzegovina, with the other two teams in the group, Poland and Holland, both hoping for an upset.
The other decider is Belgium Denmark, which should go to the FIFA number 1 Belgian side.
England will surely win its game, because there is no pressure now that the group is gone. Unless, of course, that bum Southgate puts out some experimental lineup of five defenders and five defensive mids.
A potential final four of France, Spain, Belgium, and Italy would be really class, especially a few months after the EURO 2020 Final.
