While the PSG 1-0 loss Thursday was not a shock, since the beaten UEFA Champions League finalists have been ravaged by COVID-19, it was still a defeat.

And that might give hope to some of the other teams in France, particularly Lyon, which made its own run to the Champions League semi-finals.

Lyon will probably lose some players over the coming weeks, most notably Memphis Depay, but they will also use that money from sales and reload smartly, as they usually do.

A win today over Bordeaux could see Lyon move to the top of the Ligue 1 table in the early going, but better to be there than at the bottom, even after two weeks.
