The Philadelphia Union have been a very good tournament team over the better part of the last decade.
That is, until they get to a final.
The Union have made runs to the US Open Cup Final in 2014, 2015, and 2018, only to see their opportunity to bring a piece of silverware back to Philly go up in flames.
Wednesday night, the Union once again sit on the precipice of history. Find a way past the Portland Timbers, in any way possible, and Philadelphia will be in the MLS is Back Tournament Final, ready to pick up that coveted first trophy.
This is an even contest, but the Union have looked to be on a mission.
