Tatung FC begins hunt for fourth straight Taiwan Football Premier League title
After a month of matches cancelled, there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel.
Sunday, there is a new league to bet on: the Taiwan Football Premier League.
The league begins its fourth season with a banger, as the three-time defending champions Tatung FC of Taipei City takes on three-time runners-up Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), as one of four games kicking off simultaneously at 4 a.m. EDT.
Last season, the title was decided on the final afternoon, as Tatung went on the road and beat Taipower 2-0 to win the championship by three points. Tatung went unbeaten in three matches last season against its closest rivals (two wins and a draw), and have not lost at home in the league since October of 2017.
