It is not often that you get a potential final in the first match of a group stage.

But Tuesday, that is exactly what will happen at the 2019 UEFA U21 Championship.

England, which is the defending champion with this group of players (2017 U17 World Cup), will take on France in what might be the best match of the summer (unless they play again). The England squad is loaded with names you know from the Premier League, and that talent should be able to edge the day for the Three Lions.

Australia currently sits in third place in Group C at the Women's World Cup, but that can change dramatically Tuesday. With group leader Italy (six points, +6 goal difference) taking on Brazil (three points, +2 goal difference), a win for Brazil would open up the top spot to the tiebreaker procedure. Australia (three points, 0 goal difference) could potentially jump up into first if they pummel Jamaica, and that is what the Aussies will try to do.

Finally, the United States men get underway at the CONCACAF Gold Cup Tuesday night against Guyana. If you don't think they have been listening all week as the debate has raged around them about how much better the women have been, how poor they have been, I believe you to be sorely mistaken. Expect the Americans to come out here and make a statement in this spot.
