Soccer Tuesday – Miller on FIFA U20 Round of 16, United States v France, Japan v South Korea, Argentina v Mali

Three games today bring an end to the FIFA U20 World Cup Round of 16, and it is the Americans that are huge underdogs in the early match.

The USA will have to knock out the tournament favorite France in order to advance, after the Americans just squeaked through the group stages.

But the USA cannot play poorly here: if it does, this talented French side will punish the Americans.

The other 11:30 a.m. match will pit two neighbors, Japan and South Korea, in what looks to be a very even contest.

At 2:30 p.m., Argentina is a heavy favorite against Mali, and should take care of business.
