Miller picks UEFA Champions League action - Lionel Messi & Barcelona v Manchester United, also Ajax v Juventus & EFL Championship games

Ajax vs. Juventus, Manchester United vs. Barcelona, Birmingham City vs. Sheffield United, and Norwich City vs. Reading

After it was left for dead following a 2-0 home loss in the UEFA Champions League round of 16, Manchester United roared back in Paris to stun the footballing world with a 3-1 victory to advance to the quarterfinals.

The Red Devils reward?

A date Wednesday with Lionel Messi and Barcelona.

Old Trafford will be rocking for its first Champions League quarterfinal in half a decade, but can Manchester United stick with one of the tournament favorites?

These two teams have played out dome epic battles over the last few decades, with United famously winning a two-legged semifinal in 2008 thanks to a Paul Scholes goal and the 1991 Cup Winners Cup final. But Barcelona got its revenge in 2009 and 2011, with victories in Champions League Finals (2-0 in 2009, 3-1 in 2011).

The Red Devils are going to need goals tonight to stay in the tie, with the expectation that Barcelona will be able to get a couple at some point in the tie.

But to quote a famous line from 1999, "Can United score? They always score."

In the other Champions League match Wednesday, Ajax will host Juventus, with the Italians favored despite Ajax knocking off the three-time defending champions last round.

My inclination would be to lean towards Ajax here, but the better play might be for both to score, just like in the other match.

The EFL Championship is in its final stretch run, and two teams tonight can either solidify its hold on top spot, or jump into second place.

Look for Norwich City and Sheffield United to do just that.
