NHL Playoff Bets: Boop likes the Flyers to beat the Islanders in game 2 and has some scoring props to chew on

The Flyers are coming off a loss in Game 1 of their series against the Islanders. And that can mean only one thing for Game 2 on Wednesday afternoon.

A victory.

The Orange-and-Black have followed each of their last 10 losses with victory, and they did not take their good, old time doing so.

In those 10 wins, they scored first nine times (including the last eight). Eight of those nine have come in the first period and six of those eight (plus the one opponent’s first goal) have come within the first six minutes.

Philly has owned those 10 first periods by a 15-6 score (12-2 over the last eight).

A lot goes into rebounding quickly after a loss, not the least of which is coaching. Alain Vigneault is a Jack Adams Award finalist for a lot of reasons. For us, this 10-0 mark can be Exhibit A.
