NHL Monday: Dietel on Game 4 of Bruins v Blues, Jordan Binnington

Published on

Bruins (-110) at Blues (-110)
Pick: Bruins to win (-110)

After a monster of a game from the Bruins in their first road contest of the Stanley Cup Final, it’s hard to pick against them taking a 3-1 lead on St. Louis. Everything the Bruins did in Saturday’s tilt was calculated, skilled and speedy. The Bruins just seem to want it more and sometimes that’s enough to push a team over the edge.

The Blues will no doubt come out of the gate fighting while trying to rebound from a poor performance, but the Bruins are good at adapting mid-game and playing their game at their own pace.

St. Louis’ only hope is that Game 2 Jordan Binnington (5 goals allowed in 32:12) is gone and never to be heard from again. But even that might not be enough.

Looks like the Bruins are a lock tonight.
