> The Skinny
We are opting to stay away from the Sharks-Golden Knights tilt because its been so hot and cold with those two teams we don’t really know what to expect . . . The Penguins are due, especially with some home-ice advantage. Look for them to finally come out on top in one of these games. Without the Coliseum crowd cheering the Islanders on, this should be an easy pick-up for Sidney Crosby and company . . . Speaking of teams that are due, there is no way the Lightning don’t win tonight. The Blue Jackets have been a better road team all season, so them stealing the first two games of the series in Tampa isn’t that preposterous. We think the Lightning give it right back to CBJ. Pres Cup winners don’t go down without a fight . . . Lastly, G Jordan Binnington of the Blues has been lights out so far. He’s squelched almost every chance the Jets have had so far and consistently gives his team a chance, which they have been capitalizing on. Looks like it’s going to be another low-scoring bout in St. Louis tonight.
