NHL: The Blue Jackets ‘must win’ against the Rangers; Ducks go home to host the Kings - Dietel places his bets

The Skinny
The Blue Jackets head into tonight’s tilt with a ‘must win’ mentality. There’s only one playoff spot left in the Eastern Conference and they are tied with Montreal at 94 points apiece. Columbus has a game in hand, so a win tonight against the Rangers who have absolutely nothing to play for could really put the pressure on the Habs in their final matchup of the season… As for California, the West Coast rivalry of the Ducks and Kings should be an action-packed night as the Ducks end their season at home. No doubt the Kings will try and ruin their last game of the year by dropping a beating on them. Hopefully they do, they’ve got Devils fans on their side hoping for a Kings win for New Jersey’s draft lottery odds to increase.
