The Monday Philly Props: Flyers

Wayne Simmonds
Published on

The last time the Flyers picked up play off the All-Star Weekend with a home game was three years ago, when Wayne Simmonds went for a pair of goals in a 4-2 win over the Capitals.

Simmonds will be front and center on a lot of trade talk over the next three weeks, but there is no reason he can’t do some damage in the meantime.

The Flyers had 16 goals over their last three games before the break (Simmonds had a pair in the first of those three) after having tallied just 14 in their previous nine games. Perhaps the dam has broken and the offense will continue to shine through.

Only two teams have allowed fewer road goals than the Jets this season, just they are 1-3 in their last four on the road, allowing four goals twice.

Pick: Wayne Simmonds/First Goal ($1/+1400)
Pick: Wayne Simmonds/Goal ($5/+225)
