After a 2-2 Week 11, we are ready to get back into the winner's circle with our NFL best bets. The Rams easily covered against the Patriots and the Seahawks upset the 49ers outright as 7-point underdogs. I'm still shocked (but thankful) that San Fran's defense gave Geno Smith that much room to run down near the goal line.
Unfortunately, our bets on the Commanders and the Bengals didn't go as planned. Washington held up great against Philly for three quarters, but they ran out of gas late. Cincy had every opportunity to take the Sunday Night Football matchup from the Chargers, but their defense continues to perform like a cheap deodorant on a hot summer day!
Check out our fearless predictions for Week 12 below! Best of luck with all of your wagers and enjoy the games. Let's get this party started!
AZ at SEA: 4:25 PM EST (Sunday)
Seattle came through for us last week, but this is the ideal time to sell them at a high point. I love Geno Smith, but he still has a tendency to make poor decisions at the worst possible times. The former West Virginia star has thrown as many interceptions as he has touchdowns this season (11).
Arizona is coming off a bye and y'all know I love investing in well-rested teams that have had two weeks to prepare for their opponent. The Cards had won four straight games before their week off and they've been one of the most shocking surprises of the 2024 season. Kyler Murry is finally healthy, and he's found a way to cut down on his turnovers.
Murray is exciting to watch, but the strength of this Arizona squad is their running game. The Cards rank 2nd in yards per rush this season, mainly thanks to James Conner and a fantastic offensive line full of big fellas. That should pair well against a Seattle rush defense that ranks just 25th in yards per rush allowed (4.8).
BAL at LAC: 8:15 PM EST (Monday Night Football)
It's a little early to be betting on Monday Night Football, but I went ahead and bought a somewhat cheap hook on the Ravens. Baltimore is coming off a horrific performance against Pittsburgh, so they'll be eager to 'get right' in front of a primetime audience. I love playing on good teams in bounce-back spots and this one fits the bill to a tee.
On the flip side, this is a good opportunity to sell the Chargers at a relatively high point. The whole world just watched this Los Angeles offense look great against a terrible Bengals defense. Baltimore's secondary scares me, but something tells me that John Harbaugh will find a way to shut down his brother Jim's offensive game plan.
I'm a big strength of schedule guy and Baltimore has a huge edge in that department. The Ravens have played the 16th toughest schedule while the Chargers rank dead last (32nd). Let's lay the points with Lamar and the boys!
