The (0-2) Cincinnati Bengals are 6.5 point favorites over the (1-1) Washington Commanders in the second-half of tonight's Monday Night Football double-header. We've already shared our favorite SGP for Jags vs Bills, so lets now turn our attention to this inter-conference showdown.

Washington comes into Monday night fresh off a victory over the New York Giants. The Commanders desperately needed the win, having dropped 9 straight before last week. Over that stretch, Washington has only covered the spread 3 times.

The Bengals have yet to win a game this season, but did find a way to cover the spread and nearly beat the Chiefs in week 2. Cinci is 4-3-1 against the spread over their last 8 games and should be able to find success against a Commanders defense that ranks as one of the league's worst through 2 weeks.

Cincinnati Bengals -6.5

Although the Commanders will be in a good position to compete in this game if Jayden Daniels doesn’t turn the ball over, Zac Taylor and the 0-2 Bengals desperately need a statement game and I think they will get one on primetime here.

With Tee Higgins back and Ja’Marr Chase bound to get back in the action, expect great offensive output from Cincy while the defense will need to keep everything in front of them with the dual threat Daniels on the other side.

Ja’Marr Chase (CIN) - Anytime TD

Don’t sweat it - Chase and Burrow will get back on track. Ja’Marr Chase has had a rather quiet start to his contract year campaign catching 10 of 11 targets for less than 100 yards thus far.

With that being said, Washington comes in with a bottom tier secondary and with Zac Taylor getting a few extra hours to scheme for this one, I’m expecting a huge game from one of the best wideouts in the league tonight.

RB Austin Ekeler (WAS) - 25+ REC YDS

While Brian Robinson has been the lead back for Jayden Daniels and the Commanders, Ekeler has found his role as a receiving back in this Kliff Kingsbury offense. Ekeler has caught 7 balls for 99 yards through two weeks, reasserting himself as a value play in PPR formats and ultimately as a top receiving back in the NFL at the age of 29.

While he won’t have a huge impact on the ground game, expect him to give Jayden Daniels a few easy 1st downs through the air as a safety valve. We're taking him to cover his receiving yards prop tonight.
