While most NFL fans don't consider the Hall of Fame Game an actual NFL exhibition, we do have football this week, which means we made it through another offseason.

While we still have another month before the regular season kicks off, odds on futures wagers will certainly start to shift as bettors get their first taste of NFL action. This means that this is a critical week for futures bettors.

Thus far, we've analyzed the odds and shared best bets for the MVP, OPOY, OROY, and have even picked the winners for each division. In this article, we will take a look at the current stat leader odds available at DraftKings and share our picks.

Passing Yards Leader

Tua won the passing crown last season with 4,624 yards behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle’s prolific YAC ability. Heading into the 2024 season, Tua has a chance to win this category again within a pass-first Mike McDaniel offense, but we are looking elsewhere for a winner this year.

  • Patrick Mahomes (+500)

  • C.J. Stroud (+600)

  • Dak Prescott (+650)

  • Jared Goff (+800)

  • Tua Tagovailoa (+800)

Best Bet: Jared Goff (+800)

Jared Goff comes off a 4,575 yard season, throwing for 30 touchdowns and a 7.6 average. With Sam Laporta and Jahmyr Gibbs entering their second season alongside Amon-Ra St. Brown’s status as a true WR1 after his best season of his career, this offense has a chance to put up 30 points per game against defenses that don’t come prepared.

The Goff to Gibbs connection is one that should put JG over the hump this season. Gibbs’ 52 catches for 316 yards should elevate to about 70 catches for 450+ yards in 2024, giving Goff a massive boost to win this award. None of the other QBs on this list have a more prolific catching back on their roster.

Passing TDs Leader

Last season, Prescott finished with the most passing TDs with 36. He isn't the favorite heading into this season, but his +750 odds are good enough for second in the league.

  • Patrick Mahomes (+650)

  • Dak Prescott (+750)

  • C.J. Stroud (+1100)

  • Brock Purdy (+1100)

  • Joe Burrow (+1100)

Best Bet: Patrick Mahomes (+650)

Mahomes shockingly finished with less than 30 which marked just the second time in his career he fell under this mark. The season after he bounced back with 38 TDs.

Looking at other names on this list, Joe Burrow is looking for a redemption season after a handful of injuries have knocked him shy of consistently elite performances.

While Jordan Love joined Dak, Purdy, and Goff as the only other QBs to throw for 30+ TDs in 2023, this is Mahomes' award once again. Rashee Rice, Hollywood Brown, and Travis Kelce are shaking up his three top targets - giving Mahomes his best receiving core since Tyreek Hill left for Miami.

Rush TDs Leader

Raheem Mostert led this category last season with 18 rush TDs, putting together his best season at 30 years of age for the Dolphin offense that was clicking on all cylinders. As for the 2024 season, Quarterbacks are the position to watch for this category as Josh Allen and Anthony Richardson both have a real shot to win this category at +1500 odds or worse.

  • Christian McCaffrey (+600)

  • Derrick Henry (+650)

  • Jonathan Taylor (+1400)

  • Jalen Hurts (+1500)

  • Raheem Mostert (+1500)

  • Josh Allen (+1500)

  • Anthony Richardson (+2000)

Best Bets: Josh Allen (+1500) and Anthony Richardson (+2000)

Allen bumped his rush TD number from 7 to 15 last season with the Bills QB automatically scoring in short yardage situations with his massive frame.

As for sophomore QB Anthony Richardson, he scored 4 times on the ground in just two full games last season. With AFC South teams uncertain on how to stop the run against QBs such as Richardson, look for some huge rushing performances in inner-division games next season.

Receiving TDs Leader

Mike Evans and Tyreek Hill tied at 13 TDs for this honor last season. In 2024, we are looking to a player that should finally play with a healthy Quarterback and look to his rookie season to draw inspiration.

  • Tyreek Hill (+900)

  • CeeDee Lamb (+900)

  • Ja’Marr Chase (+1000)

  • Justin Jefferson (+1100)

  • A.J. Brown (+1100)

  • Sleeper: Cooper Kupp (+4500)

Best Bet: Ja'Marr Chase (+1000)

Ja’Marr Chase finished with 13 TDs himself in his first season as a Bengal, but has dealt with Burrow and personal injuries leading up to his 4th season in the league. Should a contract situation get done soon for one of the top WRs in the league, Chase is a solid bet for this honor as a red zone assassin.

Sleeper Bet: Cooper Kupp (+4500)

As for our sleeper, Cooper Kupp is now three years removed from his iconic 16 TD, 145 catch season with the Rams. Only playing 21 games over the last two seasons, we believe a different Cooper Kupp will come to the table this year - one with a mission and a red zone target that could end up averaging .5 to 1 TD per contest.

With the Rams in the best offensive division in football, Stafford and company are going to have to put up points to win games. Kupp is going to once again become the elusive red zone target we once knew him as.
