The NFL Divisional Round starts with these two games.

The Houston Texans  plays the Baltimore Ravens on ESPN and ABC. The game starts at 4:30 pm.

The Ravens  are favored by 9.5 and the total is 50.5. The money line is Ravens -445 and Texans +345. These teams played earlier in the season and the Ravens won 25-9.   The weather is expected to be 18 degrees with wind gusts up to 7 miles per hour.

Ravens are coming in off the bye after having the best record in the AFC. Baltimore’s home record in the regular season was 6-3. Texans defeated the Browns at home 45-14 in the Wild Card game. Houston’s road record in the regular season was 4-4.

The Ravens won 10 games against teams with winning records. Six of those wins came against teams in the playoffs. The Texans are led by QB CJ Stroud, the NFL offensive player rookie of the year.

Expect a big game from Nico Collins, wide receiver for the Texans. His receiving yardage is projected at 78 yards and his receptions are 6.5. He had 8 catches and 80 yards in the first meeting against the Ravens. The price for receptions is +114. Collins goes over on both.

Expect RBs Gus Edwards for the Ravens and Devin Singletary for the Texans to be anytime touchdown scores. There is value in both players with positive prices of +110 and +100 respectively.

The Texans are playing well but the Ravens are coming off a period of extended rest for most of their starters. They rested everyone in the final week of the regular season against the Steelers. The Ravens money line win and the game goes over!

The Green Bay Packers play the San Francisco 49ers tonight at 8:15. The Niners are favored by 9.5 and the total is 50.5. The money line is the Niners -450 and the Packers +350. Weather will not be a factor .

The Niners have made the playoffs for the third consecutive year while the Packers made a late season run to the post season. Packers upset the Cowboys on the road 48-32 in the NFL Wild Card round.

Expect Niners RB Christian McCaffrey to go over his projected rushing yards of 92.5. The price is -123.

The Niners are well rested and at home. Their home record was 8-1. Teams with the bye have advanced to the Conference Championship Game 71.9% of the time. While the Packers run was very impressive to get here ,most of the wins came against teams that were sub .500 teams. The Niners will shut down the Packers offense and advance. Niners cover and the game goes under.
