The NFL Thursday Night Football game has the Denver Broncos playing the Cleveland Browns. The numbers are Browns -3.0 with a total of 42.5. The money line is Browns -170 & Broncos +145. Browns are the home team.
Injury Report: Nick Chubb and Jarvis Landry are out for Browns. Baker Mayfield has a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder, so Case Keenum is the starter. Kareem Hunt was placed on IR, so he is out. For the Broncos, Teddy Bridgewater limped from the podium after the game on Sunday. His limited mobility will decrease his effectiveness if he starts.
58% of the action is on the Browns. 59% of the public like the game over.
Trends: Broncos are 5-2 in the last 7 head-to-head meetings. The under is 5-2 in Denver’s last 7 games.
Prop Action: Melvin Gordon over 42.5 in rushing yardage. The price is -110. He goes over. Javonte Williams over 49.5 rushing yards. I would lay the 115 and go over.
Coaching Match Up: Vic Fangio and Kevin Stefanski are even.
My take on the game. The Browns are totally beat up with a slew of injuries. Broncos not much better but will rely on running the ball. This has me leaning that the Broncos can pull an upset. This line that was Browns -5 has now dropped by 1.5. Both defenses have given up over 30 points in their last games, but the offensive limitations will prevent that here. Take the Broncos with the points and under.
