Not sure exactly where to go Prop-wise with this Eagles team. We thought if they could shed the turnover habit against the Giants, they would light up the MetLife Scoreboard like Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

Well, zero turnovers later, it was all they could do to put a season-low 17 points up. Ugh!

So, let’s look at this the other way . . .

Five of the last seven Eagles games have gone Under, as have three of the Browns’ last four contests. And in those three Browns games, Cleveland has scored seven, six and 10 points. (They popped the Bengals for 37 in the other one, but who doesn’t these days? Oh yeah, the Eagles, who managed just 23 in 70 minutes against Cincinnati back in September.)

So, it looks like we will be betting on the clock.

The Total is 47 everywhere but FanDuel, which was still laying the Under 47.5 at -120 early Saturday afternoon, so we’ll take that, as well as two Alternative Unders there (41.5 at +180 and 23.5 at +3100).

The Cleveland offense hasn’t scored a first-half touchdown since before Halloween and hasn’t put up more than 10 in the first 30:00 since Game 5. The defensive front four (well, at least two of them) have been the most consistent of any Birds position group, and we can see them coming put fired up and keeping the law firm of Chubb, Hunt and Mayfield out of the end zone, at least for the first half.

And just in case they decide to open the offensive floodgates (Cleveland DE Myles Garrett being out is huge), we’ll take a stab at wagers on three Eagles for any and all touchdowns – quarterback Carson Wentz (who has been sitting on five rushing TDs since the first Giants Game) and wide receivers Travis Fulgham and Greg Ward (the only two Eagles with more than one TD catch so far this season.)

After the Eagles have played so many blah division games recently, we don't expect much excitement in this one.

Famous last words . . .
