This will be my 35th, or so, NFL Mock Draft. When it’s my choice I only do one and I do it the morning of the draft.

Trades, of course, always make this harder so I don’t include any. And I try to get as many of the 32 picks correct and if some are head-on that’s even better.

Here we go...

  1. Cincinnati: Joe Burrow, QB, LSU

It wouldn’t be my pick, but it will be the Bengals.

  2. Washington: Chase Young, DE, Ohio State

The ‘Skins get the draft’s best player.

  3. Detroit: Derek Brown, DT, Auburn

This will probably come a few picks later after the Lions trade down.

  4. New York Giants: Tristin Wirfs, T, Iowa

All the Giants had to do was lose one more game and they could have had Young.

  5. Miami: Tua Tagovaiola, QB, Alabama

Don’t listen to the rumors — this is the Dolphins’ guy.

  6. Los Angeles Chargers: Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon

I really think the Chargers go another direction, but too many people have convinced me they’re taking Herbert.

  7. Carolina: Jeff Odukah, CB, Ohio State

With Tom Brady in the division now, you better have some cover corners.

  8. Arizona: Andrew Thomas, T, Georgia

QB Kyler Murray wants his old pal CeeDee Lamb. Instead, he gets much needed protection from the best tackle in the class.

  9. Jacksonville: Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson

The Jags love these do-it-all type of defenders.

  10. Cleveland: Mekhi Becton, T, Louisville

This could change if the Browns trade for Trent Williams.

  11. New York Jets: Jedrick Willis, Alabama

And the top four tackles are gone.

  12. Las Vegas: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma

Al Davis smiles from his grave.

  13. San Francisco: Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

The Niners would have been happy with either of the top two WRs.

  14. Tampa Bay: Josh Jones, T, Houston

Bucs will try to trade up for one of the top tackles. If they can’t they could move down a few spots and get Jones.

  15. Denver: Henry Ruggs, WR, Alabama

And the Alabama player every other pick continues.

  16. Atlanta: K’Lavon Chaisson, Edge, LSU

The best cure for a bad secondary is a better pass rush.

  17. Dallas: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida

Cowboys get a replacement for the departed Byron Jones.

  18. Miami: Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina

Dolphins may also move up for a tackle. If they say put hey take the bet player on the board.

  19. Las Vegas: Kennth Murray, LB, Oklahoma

And the Raiders corner the market on Sooners.

  20. Jacksonville: Jordan Love, QB, Utah St.

You really thought they were going with Gardner Minshew?

  21. Philadelphia: Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

This will surprise some, but he may turn out to be as good as any WR in the class.

  22. Minnesota: A.J. Terrell, CB, Clemson

The Vikings always seem to find decent corners.

  23. New England: Cole Kmet, TE, Notre Dame

People I trust insist Kmet is going first round. So why not here? Pats may move down and get him.

  24. New Orleans: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU

Saints give Drew Brees a going-away present.

  25. Minnesota: Ezra Cleveland, T, Boise St.

Vikes haven’t done as well on the OL. But they try again.

  26. Miami: D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia

The Philly kid heads to South Beach.

  27. Seattle: Yetor Gross-Matos, DE, Penn State

Seahawks always trade out of the first round, but if they stay this makes sense.

  28. Baltimore: Patrick Queen, LB, LSU

Ravens keep adding to a good defense.

  29. Tennessee: Austin Jackson, T, So. Cal.

Titans need a replacement up front for Jack Conklin.

  30. Green Bay: Isaiah Wilson, T, Georgia

Packers need one for Brian Bulaga.

  31. San Francisco: Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama

It had been a while since an Alabama player went.

  32. Kansas City: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, LSU

Andy Reid gets a Brian Westbrook clone.
