Newcastle Knights look to go top of NRL, while Brisbane Broncos want to stop the rot Saturday
There are three NRL games on Saturday morning, and two of them involve teams that can go back to the top of the ladder with wins: Newcastle and Parramatta.
But the third match, which is sandwiched between the other two at 3:30 a.m. EDT (FS1 and Fubo.tv) is a very intriguing contest between the Brisbane Broncos and Gold Coast Titans.
While most people thought the TItans would be bad (1-5 coming into Week 7), the Broncos started the season with two straight wins, before the COVID-19 break shut down the sport.
Since the return, the Broncos are 0-4, and three of those games have been blowouts. They were all against teams in the top seven, so to see what happens Saturday against the team at the foot of the ladder may tell which way this campaign is headed for Brisbane.
Look for the Broncos to get back to winning ways.
