The excitement in Nevada next week is centered around the world’s best gaming conference. The G2E is a trade show that has casino executives and vendors convene in Las Vegas. The top gaming operators in the world come to get information, network, develop business relationships and form partnerships. The projected attendance is approximately 25,000 to 30,000 people.

Las Vegas is the perfect place for a gaming show like the G2E. The amount of hotel rooms can accommodate the attendees. Most casinos and trade exhibitors have a corporate presence in town. The convention space is more than adequate with over 2 million square feet. The entertainment and night clubs offer a nice change of pace from the business decorum of the show.

This year, there is a Sports Betting Symposium. The subjects covered will include legislative issues and business strategies. I would venture to say that most of the casinos in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York will have a representative or team at one of the sports betting sessions.

I've decided to spend the week in Las Vegas and provide you with access to the show. That access will start tomorrow with a pre-conference interview. When I arrive in Vegas, I will tweet live about what I hear (@GamingguyM). The coverage of the conference will be comprehensive, so check in with Bettors Insider next week.

If you like pictures and photos you will get breathtaking visuals from the Las Vegas Strip. I can’t wait to share my journey with you. Follow me on Twitter and Instagram.
