What a day of matches around Europe Saturday!

There is a top of the table clash in Germany, the same in La Liga between the top two teams, and a better rivalry match in Italy between Juventus and Milan.

In England, the F.A. Cup semifinals take center stage at Wembley, while the EFL Championship goes down to the wire with another set of crazy games.

Norwich City will take the field in the early 7:30 a.m. kickoff knowing that a win will take it eight points clear of Leeds United, and 10 clear of third place Sheffield United, before the other two teams kickoff later. With just seven matches to go, any win by the Canaries will mean that there is no margin for error for the chasing teams.

Leeds United will know at kickoff what it has to do to stay within striking distance of Norwich. Leeds will travel to face Birmingham City, which is in free fall coming into Saturday. The Blues have lost five in a row, and have just one win from their last 10 matches. Leeds has won eight of 10.

Bayern Munich is at home Saturday, and comes in trailing Borussia Dortmund by two points in the Bundesliga table. Dortmund also has a 3-2 win over its rivals from November. But Bayern Munich is heavily favored in this game.

I usually love taking the favorites, but Bayern Munich has looked very vulnerable at times recently, and I think that Dortmund can go to the Allianz and get at least a point. A road victory would see Dortmund take a five-point lead with six matches to go in the session.

In Spain, Barcelona hosts Atletico Madrid, ahead of a huge trip to Manchester Wednesday night. The Blaugrana are eight points up on Atleti, and a win would end any hope for a title race. Expect Lionel Messi to take care of business.

Juventus is better than Milan, especially at home.
