Fats on the Patriot League: 1-2, -$16.

It took one night to remind me why I stopped doing this for the NBA. Had Lafayette giving 2 1/2 to Bucknell, thinking Lafayette would play hard at home for retiring coach Fran O'Hanlon. They did, they just needed to play 1 point harder, winning 72-70 in OT. Lehigh was getting 3 1/2 at home vs Boston University and lost by 6, 80-74, another 3 point defeat for Fats. Colgate giving 11 1/2, save my night, winning by 18, 86-68 over American. So I went 1-2 and was 4 points from going 3-0. In my SWAC picks I went 0-2 and was one made three in each game from 2-0. These oddsmakers are sadists.

Holy Cross at Colgate, 6 pm EST

Holy Cross + 17 1/2 -110, $11 to win $10.

Colgate has gotten its mojo back and is beating teams fairly handily, but Holy Cross has won three in a row, two of them on the road, and one against a decent Boston University team, and 17 1/2 points is a lot. Holy Cross ain't winning the game, but I'm hoping they can keep it in the 12-15 point range and not be down 18 with the ball when they decide to dribble out the clock.
