Gotta love getting that half-point for Dartmouth…

Seattle O’Sullivan 2021-2022 ACC season so far: 10-16, -$170.28

Seattle O’Sullivan 2021-2022 Ivy League season so far: 14-13, +$43.05

The Pick: Pittsburgh +3 (-110), bet $11 to win $10

Since the Ivy League is off tonight, I turn my attention to the ACC, where Pitt (who’s in the ACC? Yeah, right. (sigh)) hosts Colgate. Colgate just hurt my feelings by pounding Columbia, but that’s not why (okay, that’s not only why) I’m taking the Panthers. First off, home dog. Second, although Pitt is 2-6, four of those six losses have come to teams in the top 100 of the KenPom rankings. They lost to Virginia and Minnesota each by one point. They’ve played a much tougher schedule than Colgate. The Raiders’ only two games in the Top 100 were against Syracuse (granted, they won that game easily) and N.C. State (where they lost a close one). Pitt might be a bad team, but it’s a bad team in the ACC getting beaten up by good teams, and so tonight might also mean they know they have a shot at a win. They’ll fight, and at least cover.
