Why wait for Super Tuesday? Let’s try to have a Super Sunday. There’s a lot out there to consider, two weeks from Selection Sunday. Saturday was a mixed bag, so we’ll try to do better. But once again I fear I like too much stuff. Oh well. You don’t have to play all of these. I just throw some opinions around and hope that more of them are right.

You know me and teasers. So, why should today be much different? I just like the idea of getting to move the line by three, to create a margin for error. Only problem is I have to hit two instead of one. So, take them for what they’re worth. Many times, those extra points make the difference.

Let’s go with Creighton at St. John’s, to just win. Creighton’s been one of the hottest teams in the land, and while St. John’s might be tough at home, I think the Bluejays will at least have enough to get things done. Of course, I’ve said that before, especially when you’re dealing with the road. Nonetheless, I’ll put them in with Temple getting 1.5 points in North Philly against South Florida. Nothing for the Owls comes easily, but I think they’re starting to show a little something, and while it could be an ugly game, I think they will find a way.

Second, let’s go with Wisconsin to win against visiting Minnesota, which just blew a game at home to Maryland that not only cost me but had to be seen to be digested. I’ll use the Badger with Houston giving Cincinnati 1.5 at home. This is a revenge situation, and while I think it’ll be a game I still think the Cougars will at least win.

I’m also going to take Nebraska minus 2 at home against Northwestern. Two bad teams, but I think Northwestern is even worse. And its senior day at Nebraska, which probably can’t hurt. I’ll take a shot that the spread won’t matter.

Then there’s Colorado at Stanford, in a big PAC-12 matchup. I’m taking the Cardinals at home laying a point. Colorado is 3-3 in its last six, Stanford is 3-3 in its last six at home. And I believe it’s also senior day in Palo Alto, for what that could be worth.

Oops, got one more. How about SMU at home giving 1 to Wichita State. Not sure who the better team is, but Wichita is 4-6 on the road and SMU has won nine straight at home. Works for me.
