St. Peter’s (-4) at Niagara, 7 p.m.
St. Peter’s has been on a roll and we’ve been rolling right along with the Peacocks.
Picked to finish ninth in its 11-team league, with three games left in the regular season, St. Peter’s (15-11, 12-5) is in a tie for first place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with Siena.
Thursday night the Peacocks begin their two-game Western New York swing with a game at Niagara (9-18, 7-9).
It’s been a disappointing season for the Purple Eagles, who got off to a 2-9 start and have basically been a .500, or so, team since.
Niagara has won its last three home games but face a St. Peter’s team that is the best MAAC road team. The Peacocks are 13-3 against the spread on the road this season and are 8-2 in their last 10 road games. Included in that are wins at Monmouth and at Manhattan.
The Pick: With a regular-season title in its reach look for another balanced effort from a young, but tough St. Peter’s team on the road.
