New Fresno State head coach Justin Hutson spent 10 of his previous 12 seasons at San Diego State, so this will be like some old friends stopping by for a visit.

The problem is those old friends go as many as nine deep (that’s how many are averaging double-figures in minutes) and one of them is sophomore Jalen McDaniels, who has been averaging 17.6 points and 10.4 rebounds and shooting 58.8% (40-for-68) on two-pointers since the New Year dawned.

The Bulldogs (77.5 ppg) themselves can go eight deep, led by consistent senior Deshon Taylor, who has been putting up 16/3/5 every game like clockwork since returning from missing a handful of games with an elbow injury.

The Aztecs (76.1 ppg) have been off a week since posting 97 on New Mexico on the heels of a season-low 48-point output against Air Force. We trust they’ve got their offensive MoJo back and we know Hutson will have the Bulldogs’ dander up for his former team.

Pick: Over 140.5
