NCAAB: Wednesday Teaser likes A-10 favorites Davidson & St. Louis

George Washington +15 @ DAVIDSON 7 pm, St. Louis -1.5 @ DUQUESNE 8 pm

After three teaser wins in a row, we got thumped last night thanks to the vagaries of league play. But since it’s league play almost exclusively from now on, we’ve got to try to tame this horse. Tonight we start with George Washington +15 @ DAVIDSON 7 pm. Davidson (13-5), as always, is good. Except for an inexplicable 1-point loss at St. Joseph’s. they win when they should, haven’t lost at home and when they play teams at the level of GW (6-12), they win by 20. We’ll give Davidson our 5 teaser points. We’ll pair that game with St. Louis -1.5 @ DUQUESNE 8 pm. The Billikens (14-4) won for us Friday at home and now we’re trying them on the road. They’ve won six in a row and have not lost all season to a team ranked as low as Duquesne. But . . . the Dukes (13-5) know how to win, are 4-1 in play so feeling good about themselves and except for a loss to NJIT, have beaten whom they’ve needed to at the Palumbo Center. They just haven’t beaten anyone as good as St. Louis. We’ll give the 5 to the Billikens.
Pick: DAVIDSON - 10 over George Washington and St. Louis +3.5 over DUQUESNE.
