UNLV (+4) at New Mexico (146.5), 11 (ESPN2)

After some rocky on- and off-court goings-on in his college career at Kansas (where he played) and Arizona State (where he never took the court), Carlton Bragg has now settled in at New Mexico and through a half-dozen games has helped the Lobos improve their rebounding immensely.

In eight games without him, UNM was out-boarded by 5 a game. In the six contests since he took the court for the first time, they have averaged a +9 rebounding edge. It is not all him, but he is a big body (6-10, 225 down from as much as 265) that causes all kinds of havoc under the boards for opponents.

He had 12 rebounds (four offensive) in the 85-58 thrashing of undefeated Nevada on Saturday.

We are laying off the game, but looking forward to seeing the big guy play and keeping New Mexico (last three wins by 56, seven and 27) in the back of our mind as a team to watch come March.
