Yes, La Salle is 0-10, but then again, so is Alabama A&M. They are meeting in Atlantic City Friday night and while they may not exactly rumble out on the promenade, someone almost certainly will come away on top.
They are two of the four remaining teams without a victory so far this season. The others are Monmouth (0-12, off until New Year’s Eve at the Palestra vs. Penn) and Coppin State (0-12, at La.-Monroe Friday).
The Explorers are a double-digit favorite, which sounds like a lot when you have yet to taste victory, but the game is not showing up on at least some Jersey mobile sites. If you can find the game, know that La Salle leading scorer Pookie Powell should return from a back injury and will be chomping at the bit. Explorers should finally find victory, and if you are daring enough, look for an alternate higher line - perhaps as high as 18 or so - to get a bigger payout.
