Seattle O’Sullivan 2021-2022 NBA Season so far: 84-97-2, -$249.83

I realize I said yesterday that Detroit plays hard at home. I also realize that getting outscored by 20 in the fourth quarter, uh, does not necessarily meet the definition of “playing hard.” (sigh)

(Standing Caveat: The universe is chaotic. Life is unpredictable. Things happen. Like injuries. In following Seattle O’Sullivan’s betting advice, be advised that you should always monitor your bets during the day to make certain unforeseen things have not occurred which might change your wagering opinion. Thank you.)

Player Prop Parlay: Kevin Durant 25+ points w/LaMarcus Aldridge under 15.5 points, +150, bet $10 to win $15

League-leading scorer Durant (28.6 ppg) goes up against Luka Doncic tonight as Brooklyn faces Dallas. Durant will want Doncic off his corner and will go off tonight. Aldridge’s point average is 13.8. So an average game for both players gets me +150 value.

New York Knicks at San Antonio Spurs, 8:30 pm Eastern

The Pick: San Antonio +2.5 (-108), bet $10.80 to win $10

(shrug) Home dog. San Antonio is 13-9 against the spread overall and 6-4 ATS at home. New York is 6-12 against the spread in their last 18, and have lost four of their last five straight up. They’ve also lost four of five to the Spurs, straight up and against the spread. New York has lost seven straight at San Antonio. The Knicks have started off a bit better than the Spurs but have come back to Earth a little bit in the past couple of weeks. San Antonio returns home from a three-game road trip and have just lost. But that loss was to Phoenix and before that, they’d won four in a row. They’re starting to make noise they might make the playoffs this year after all. I’ll take them and points tonight.
