Indiana Pacers at Charlotte Hornets, 7 pm Eastern
The Pick: Indiana +2.5 (-110), bet $8 to win $7.27; over 216 (-108), bet $8 to win $7.41; same game parlay Ind +2.5/o216, +238, bet $3.36 to win $8.01
Indiana is only 6-10 while Charlotte is 9-7 and Charlotte’s at home, but I think these teams are more evenly matched than the records indicate. In their last game at Charlotte on Oct. 20, the Hornets only won by a point, and the Pacers were up by 16 at halftime. I imagine Indiana wants to atone for that collapse. Also, the Pacers are 6-3 against the spread. Charlotte is giving up more points per game than any team in the NBA, and the score has gone over in seven of their last eight games at home against Indiana. So we’ll make this game the one we focus on tonight.
Player Prop Parlay: Mason Plumlee under 7.5 points/4+ rebounds/under 2.5 assists/Domantas Sabonis 10+ points/6+ rebounds/2+ assists, true price +305, bet $3.27 to win $10
Since we’re focusing on the Indiana/Charlotte game, let’s focus on the two players I’ve been playing props on all season, tie ‘em both together, and watch nobody else but those two players for the entire night. A lot of things have to happen, yes - but all of them will happen if Plumlee and Sabonis have their average games tonight.
