1-3 last night. Could have been worse if not for two late Nikola Jokic rebounds.
You know what makes picking the NBA so difficult? Sometimes the game goes just how you thought it would and you still don't win. Denver had 68 points last night at the half. Needed 113 for the over. They finished with 104 and barely got there. 16 points in the 4th quarter? And they still won by nine? It's NBA malpractice.
Five games, six plays.

Trail Blazers at PISTONS 7:05 pm EDT, Heat at PACERS 7:05 pm, Mavericks at CELTICS 7:35 pm, Jazz at GRIZZLIES 8:05 pm, Knicks at TIMBERWOLVES 8:05 pm.
3-pointers: Parlay - PACERS +1.5 Over Heat and Over 218 +260 (Returns $36.00). The Heat have already lost twice to the Pacers and it's not playing the odds for them to lose again, but my gut says they will. Believe my gut or not.
2-pointers: Parlay - CELTICS Over Mavericks and Jazz Over GRIZZLIES +174 (returns $27.40). Neither bet individually is worth much, combined the payout is decent. Now they both need to win.
CJ McCollum (Trail Blazers) Over 3.5 made threes +108 (returns $20.80) McCollum is 3-18 from deep in his past two games after going 10-26 in the previous two. I think he reverts to form tonight.
Trail Blazers Over 114.5 points vs PISTONS -112 (returns $19.00) The finally-healthy Blazers are starting to round into shape, and although the Pistons play D, Portland has too many weapons.
Steals: Norman Powell (Trail Blazers) Over 22.5 points, rebounds, assists -113 (returns $18.90) Yes, Powell is new to the team, but in his two previous games against Detroit this season, he went for 36-5-1 and 43-3-0. 22.5 looks pretty good to me.
Nerlens Noel (Knicks) Over 16.5 points, rebounds, assists -113 (returns $18.90) With Mitchell Robinson out again, Noel should see 30+ minutes and with the Knicks and T-Wolves there should be a lot of potential rebounds.
Winners:
2-pointers: Nikola Jokic (Nuggets) double-double AND Nuggets win +140 (returns $24.00) Two late boards got Jokic to 21 and 10 and the Nuggets held on to beat the Sixers 104-95.
Losers:
3-pointers: Nikola Jokic (Nuggets) triple-double +333 (returns $43.30) Jokic went 21-10-5. He may have gotten to 10 assists if the Nuggets offense cose to play the second half.
Steals: Danny Green (Sixers) Over 15.5 points, rebounds, assists -113 (returns $18.90) Green went 8-4-3 = 15 in 22 minutes.
NUGGETS Over 112.5 vs Sixers -115 (returns $18.70) 68 in the first half, 36 in the second half. Pathetic.
