So . . . LeBron is out, LaMelo may be done for the year, Aaron Gordon wants to be traded (personally, I wanted to trade him yesterday), and I was on the verge of a historically bad night, losing my first five picks, before Chris Paul and the Suns saved me, Still took a loss, but it wasn't an 0-for-8 loss.
Two games, Four picks.
I'm going in on the T-Wolves tonight breaking the rule of the old horse racing adage by the late Al Bader. "Never bet on the nags, because they never run true to form." I don't want to call any NBA players nags but many teams are lacking when it comes to consistent performance. This just seems like a set-up for the fresh Wolves tonight to play well against a a Thunder squad that's been rolling all around the country.

Kings at CAVALIERS 7:35 pm, Thunder at TIMBERWOLVES 8:05 pm.
3-pointers: TIMBERWOLVES -3 Over Thunder and Under 227 +260 (returns $36.00) The logic here is so overwhelming it's scary. The Wolves have been off for three days. The Thunder are on the fourth game of a road trip and won a tight game last night in Houston. The teams average only 216 per game. The Wolves beat Phoenix on the road and last week beat the Trail Blazers, so they have the W in them. This is a good spot for them.
Ricky Rubio (T-Wolves) double-double +170 (returns $27.00). Rubio has double-doubles in two of his last three games. Let's make it three of four, shall we.
2-pointers: Kings win Over CAVALIERS and Over 224 +190 (returns $29.00) The Kings have been on the road a long time but this is the end of the trip.I think they'll have enough energy to enjoy the long flight home.
Free throws: None
Steals: Anthony Edwards (T-Wolves) Over 2.5 threes made -130 (returns $17.70) Edwards has hit three or more 3s in five straight games. It may take him 15 shots to get the three makes but he'll keep shooting.
Winners:
3-pointers: Chris Paul (Suns) double-double +200 (returns $30.00). Paul went for the triple-double with 11-10-13.
2-pointers: SUNS win Over Lakers and Under 215 +125 (returns $22.50) Suns win 111-94 = 205.
Steals: Maxi Kleber (Mavericks) Over 15.5 points, rebounds, assists -113 (returns $18.90) The Mavs scored 132 points but Kleber went for only 8-7-1, but that still beats 15.5.
Losers:
3-pointers: Bulls -3 Over PISTONS and Over 217.5 +255 (returns $35.50) Bulls easily win 100-86, which is unfortunately nowhere near 217.5.
Free throws: Pelicans at NUGGETS Over 230.5 -112 (returns $19.00) Pelicans win 113-108.
Steals: Magic Over 103.5 points vs CELTICS -122 (returns $18.20) Magic score 31 in the first and end up with 96. That's not that easy to do in an NBA game.
Evan Fournier (Magic) Over 25.5 points, rebounds, assists -113 (returns $18.90) Fournier goes 16-5-2 = 23.
Aaron Gordon (Magic) Over 26.5 points, rebounds, assists -113 (returns $18.90) Gordon goes 12-6-5 = 23.
