If you've been betting against Fats, it's probably a little like investing in GameStop. Had another hard luck beat yesterday, so I'm starting to assume it's not luck. Today, I'm going to try something different.
As for Ron Blarington's mockery, anybody can have a bad night of picks. It takes a real man to keep coming back after a month of bad picks.
The Jazz have been crazy good over the last few weeks. The Nuggets were improving, but put up a stinker yesterday. Donovan Mitchell is out again. I think the Nuggets get a little bounce back today.
I think the Raptors hosting the Magic will be something like a 112-108 game. No idea who will have the 112 but I'll take Over 215.5.
The Sixers have been more consistent than the Pacers and will be ready to play tonight after blowing out Minnesota. I'll lay the 1.5.
Bradley Beal was 0-8 from three in his last game and still scored 26. I don't think he'll repeat that against the defensively-challenged Nets, who will be without James Harden, so Kyrie is going to be thinking about his O. I like Beal to score over 31.5 points in a shootout.
Andre Drummond had an inexplicably awful game against the Knicks. He'll get right against the Timberwolves.

3-pointers: Nuggets over Jazz on the ML +114 (returns $21.40)
2-pointers: Bradley Beal (Wizards) Over 31.5 points -110 (returns $19.10)
Andre Drummond (Cavaliers) Over 34.5 points points, rebounds, assists -110 (returns $19.10)
Free throws: Sixers -1.5 Over Pacers -112 (returns $19.00)
Steals: Magic vs Raptors Over 215.5 -110 (returns $19.10)
Winners:
2-pointers: Christian Wood (Rockets) Over 33.5 points, rebounds, assists -105 (returns $19.60) Wood finished with 27-9 for a 36 PRA.
Losers:
3-pointers: Kings over Heat and Under 224.5 +390 (returns $49.00) I'm not counting this in my total because Jimmy Butler (30 points) ended up playing and I did warn that could be a problem. Otherwise, the game went as expected, but the Heat eked out a 105-104 win.
Free throws: John Wall (Rockets) Over 18.5 points -105 (returns $19.60) Wall had 12 at the half and 15 in 26 minutes of play and seemed sure to score 19. Unfortunately, he only played 26 minutes as the Rockets kept a big lead.
Steals: Grizzlies vs. Spurs Under 219 -109 (returns $19.20) Big miss. The Grizzlies, after 11 days off, put up 129 in a 129-112 win over the Spurs. The Grizz had not scored more than 119 in a regular season game this year and the Spurs hadn't given up more than 122. Go figure.
$30 wagered (1-2), $19.60 returned.
Day 35: -$10.40
