NBA: Skidding Knicks look for win against road-plagued Mavericks

Pick: Knicks +7

The Knicks have lost 10 games in a row. It’s their longest losing streak since 2015. But that’s not stopping us from taking them catching seven on their home floor. Sooner or later they’re going to win, right? Okay, our handicap is a little more sophisticated than that. During this 10-game losing streak, New York is 5-5 ATS. They seem to be fighting for David Fizdale and just aren’t talented enough. The good news is, their opponent tonight isn’t very talented either. The Dallas Mavericks are favored for just the fifth time on the road and have only covered in one of the previous four games. Nine of the ten losses for the Knicks in this losing streak were against teams occupying a playoff spot. The one loss that against a non-playoff team was an easy cover against Washington. Dallas is just 4-20 on the road this season. There’s no way you can lay seven points on the road with the Mavericks. We love the Knicks to cover and think they may win the game outright and halt the skid.
