NBA: Monday we seek green from Nets against shorthanded Celtics

What’s better than a home team getting points? We cashed both of our NBA plays on home pups yesterday as the Knicks and Mavericks both covered and we’re on Brooklyn here as a short dog at home against the Celtics. Boston guard Kyrie Irving called out his teammates on Saturday night after a 105-103 loss in Orlando. Irving’s not playing tonight with a quad injury. Perhaps the rest of the Celtics rally around each other without Irving in the lineup, but we wouldn’t count on it. Marcus Smart and Aron Baynes are also out for the C’s. The Nets lost by 21 last Monday night in Boston and we like the spot for Brooklyn to extract some revenge against a Boston team that’s shorthanded and might have a divided locker room.
