Tuesday: How We Fared

Greg Frank continued his mastery of bowl games today, taking Kentucky +6.5 over Penn State at the Citrus Bowl. It looked the Nittany Lions were putting up a lemon before a late comeback, but UK prevailed 27-24. The poor start squeezed the life out of today’s Philly Props play, which assumed Penn State would lead at the half.

In a 9:05 start, we thought the Nuggets would easily handle the Knicks +10.5 and . . . they didn’t. They beat the Knicks by only 7, 115-108. The Knicks had six players score double figures and led into the fourth quarter. Stat sheet stuffer Nikola Djokic led the Nuggets with 19 points. 14 rebounds and 15 assists.

Between the bad weather and the scratches, “How We Fared” is giving Mick McMudder the day off since his horses took the day off.
