Yesterday was another good result for the home team, as our MLB selections went 2-1. The Rays pounded the Jays to pieces to the tune of a 13-0 butt kicking to cash our best bet. The Rangers also came through for us by only striking out once against Jonathan Cannon.
Our only loss was on Patrick Corbin, who looked fantastic against the Padres even though he took the loss. Let's build on those back-to-back winning days with 2 more player props and a best bet for Friday, July 26.

I'm using the nice 50% Odds Boost over at DraftKings for this one! Simply head to their site or the app and click the Promos tab. Scroll down to find the MLB 50% Odds Boost option and click Opt In. That took the juice on this play from -155 to -104, which is pretty darn sweet!
I like this Red Sox team and they've made me some good coin so far this season. That said, they strike out a ton against lefties. Cortes also sports a 33.4% K-rate against these Boston hitters in his career.
Cortes racked up 8 Ks in 6 innings of work against Boston back on July 5th. A similar result tonight wouldn't surprise me, especially since the BoSox have 6 players who strike out more than 23% of the time. Take the Over!
LAD at HOU - 8:10 PM EDT
Stone is a young guy with lots of potential, but he hasn't figured out how to generate lots of swings and misses yet at the big-league level. The 25-year-old has a fantastic record for the Dodgers at 9-3, but his K-rate is on the low side at just 18.8%.
The former Central Arkansas alum's stuff is good but his whiff rate is underwhelming. Stone gets a tough matchup tonight on the road against the Astros. Seasoned hitters like Yordan Alvarez and Jose Altuve could cause problems for the young right-hander.
Houston not only has some big boppers, but they also put the ball in play at a high rate against righties. Six Houston hitters have strikeout rates under 20%. Let's play the Under!

We cashed an easy winner with Tampa Bay yesterday, but this is an awful spot for them tonight. The Rays are coming home off an 8-day road trip and they had to travel from Toronto to South Florida late yesterday.
Cincy was off yesterday after completing a rain-shortened series sweep of Atlanta. I love the Reds edge in the starting pitching department in this one with Nick Lodolo on the hill. The young lefty has a fantastic K-rate, mainly because of his nasty curveball and remarkable changeup.
Tampa Bay will counter with Shane Baz, who is a bit of an unknown commodity since he's only making his 4th start of 2024. I think the Reds hitters can get to Baz in this one, especially with Elly De La Cruz and Jonathan India swinging hot bats of late.
Another nice edge the Reds have is their bullpen. Cincy ranks 4th in K minus BB rate with their relievers. Tampa Bay only ranks 24th. Give me the Red Legs as today's best bet!
