A 2-1 Tuesday at least got back on the winning track, so let’s make it a winning Wednesday with a variety of MLB picks.

Philadelphia Phillies at Washington Nationals, 6:05 p.m.

Pitchers: Aaron Nola vs. Patrick Corbin

Odds: Phillies -115; Nationals -105

Baltimore Orioles at Tampa Bay Rays, 6:40 p.m.

Pitchers: Asher Wojciechowski vs. Trevor Richards

Over/Under 9 runs

Oakland A’s at Texas Rangers, 8:05 p.m.

Pitchers: Mike Fiers vs. Kolby Allard

Odds: As -150; Rangers +130

THE CYCLE

Single: Baltimore and Tampa Bay aren’t exactly running out their aces Wednesday night. Wojo is 1-3 and has a 4.84 ERA and in his career agains the Rays he’s 0-1 with a 5.60 ERA. Richards doesn’t have a decision this season, which is fortunate for him because his ERA is 5.94. Against the Orioles he’s 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA. Take the over.

Double: The Phillies and Nats are throwing aces. Nola is coming off his worst start of the year, however, and Corbin is coming off his best. Factor that with Nola being 4-6/4.22 vs. the Cats and Corbin 5-2/3.18 vs the Phillies. Take the Nats.

Triple: Mike Fiers is one of those pitchers that just wins. Oakland is 5-1 when he starts this season, despite an ERA climbing toward the 5-range. He’ll win again Wednesday night. Take Oakland.

Home Run: I’m looking for Baltimore’s Anthony Santander, Tampa Bay’s Brandon Lowe and Oakland’s Matt Chapman to go deep Wednesday night.
