Keep swinging was Wednesday’s mantra. And it worked.
After a couple of sub-par days in the baseball betting world, Wednesday night produced a perfect 3-for-3 night. And not only did all three teams — the White Sox, the Nationals and the Brewers — win, all three recorded shutouts.
Thursday’s schedule is limited and also not very appealing, but let’s take a few swings.
Pitchers: Shane Bieber vs. Jose Berrios
Odds: Indians -106; Twins -114
Pitchers: J.A. Happ vs. John Means
Odds: Yankees -230; Orioles +195
Over/Under: 10
Single: I like the Twins and their ace Berrios to win at home against what could be a tired Indians team playing its first game on the road this season.
Double: It’s hard to actually bet a team at -230, so to make it a little more equitable take the Yankees to beat the Orioles and the over 10 runs in a parlay.
Triple: Let’s get crazy and do a three-team parlay with the Twins, Yanks and the over 10 runs in the Yanks/Orioles game.
Home Run: Since we’re pumping the Twins go with Josh Donaldson (+280) to go yard tonight and also look for Cincinnati’s Eugenio Suarez (+200) to hit his first home run of the season as well.
